Redemption Will Come as a Song

1.Willy

Out of the cerulean sky

Comes a bright white steed

With a tail of red

And a mane of black

Flying over fields of yellow

And lakes of azure

Until landing silently

In a treasure trove

Of olive-green avocados

Sometime early in the First

Millennium of Our Lord

Shangri-la, la la

La la, la la, la la

2.Nilly

Suddenly a rider appears

On the back of the bright

White steed and declares

Herself purple mountain majesty

As she flies above the

Fruited plains from sea to

Salty sea and over the rainbow

In a coat of many colors ‘til

They all blend into one

Sometime late in the Second

Millennium of Our Lord

Shangri-la, la la

La la, la la, la la

3.Willy Nilly

And then the sky shall fall

And the seas rise

And the deer in the forest

Run willy nilly

Hither and yon

The rider returns

And the bright white steed

Flies home a different way

And to a different home

Sometime in the Third

Millennium of Our Lord

Shangri-la, la la

La la, la la, la la
